We went trick-or-treating in downtown Eau Claire yesterday afternoon. That way Rayna could see the costumes in the daylight (she's still pretty afraid of masks and some costumes, even though she loves Halloween books). The Halloween Witch came and traded most of Rayna's candy for a book, The Monster under the Shed (Thomas and Friends).

i love that you that Halloween witch came and traded candy for books!! i told jess about it and she said she wished she would have run into that Halloween witch. probably every parent out there who is conscious of their kid's sugar consumption wished the same would happen for them! thanks for adding more to your blog. i check back regularly to see what the haps are in your lives and it's fun to hear the new stories and see the new pictures.
